"LINES OF ACTION" The creation of added value for the region is one of AREA’s objectives. To this end, AREA promotes various actions:
Establishing a cross-border collaboration between Italy and Slovenia: in the context of the HiCo project (Hi-tech integrated Co-operation for cross-border economic growth and SME competitiveness increase), AREA is involved in projects and partnerships which promote cooperation between SMIs and research centres Establishing favourable conditions for entering the Far-East markets, and in particular the Chinese one: AREA offers assistance to hi-tech SMIs thanks to the setting up in China (at the Huilongsen International Incubator in Beijing) of an incubator to welcome future investors (ITI-International Technology Incubator project) Facilitating the matching of technological supply and demand at a European level, through technical-commercial missions abroad for businesses and researchers that want to collaborate with foreign partners (IRENE project) Promoting the creation of partnerships enabling the research bodies and the region’s companies to take advantage of the funding opportunities offered by the European Research Framework Programme (an APRE activity) For the regional administrations, projects to study and analyse the impact of regional policies in support of innovation: comparing and finding the best solutions from the perspective of the increasing prominence of research and development activities within the European Structural Funds (Novaregio project) Promoting links between companies belonging to the ICT (Information and Communication Technology), Environment and BIO-TECH clusters and research centres so that they can present joint projects using funding provided by the EU for this activity sector: AREA will guarantee the integrity of the partners Promotion of small businesses operating in the sphere of aerospace technology to bridge the gap between venture capitalists and enhance dimensional growth and the search for providers of funds (Invesat project) Creation of infrastructures for research in the field of bionanotechnology: this is the result of the coordination between research bodies (BINASP project) If you think that AREA could help you, or you would like to know more about how, and to what extent the services offered by AREA can help your business grow, please contact:
