Innovation Factory: the process
Collaboration with Innovation Factory takes place over 3 phases:
Phase 1. Evaluation of the business idea
The proposer submits a description of his/her own business idea and a plan of activities in
preparation for starting a new company to the scientific and technical committee of Innovation
Factory.
Phase 2. Pre-incubation
Once the proposal is accepted and an agreement is signed regarding the launch and management
of the “Development Group” of the future business, Innovation Factory makes adequately equipped
space available and the various activities agreed upon are begun. Innovation Factory helps future
entrepreneurs by providing the services and resources needed to successfully completing the path
that leads to the creation of a new business.
Phase 3. Company setup
At the moment in which the conditions for economic sustainability and operating autonomy
exist, the proposer and Innovation Factory make arrangements for the creation of the new company.
Innovation Factory’s share in the company will be a minority one and suitable way-out mechanisms
will be agreed upon with the proposer.
Pre-incubation and support to the new company last a maximum of 3 years.
